Cruises in 2011

December 20, 2010 at 5:08 pm

cruisesIt is not too late to get deals on luxury cruises to exotic locations directly from the UK. Cruise lines are offering great specials through February with more exciting deals being advertised each month. Those who are taking a serious look at cruises in 2011 will be pleasantly surprised as the seasonal prices available, but you do have to look early for them. Always plan a cruise at least one season in advance to get the best prices.

Several cruise lines are available in the UK with special prices to locations all over the world. Royal Caribbean International has limited time campaigns throughout the year that are broadcast on television, radio, newspapers, and magazines. This company specializes in accommodating first-time cruisers, so if you have never been on a cruise before, they can make the process simple. One of the most popular ships that Royal Caribbean International has to offer is Independence of the Seas, departing from Southampton. Brilliance of the Seas to Dubai is also a lovely cruise. However, Grandeur of the Seas is all new for 2011, offering seven-night cruises through the Mediterranean.

Of course, Royal Caribbean International is not the only cruise line offering cheap cruises in 2011. Other top cruise lines, such as Celebrity X, Cruises, Princess Cruises, and Swan Hellenic offer departures throughout the Kingdom. The most popular departure points are London, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Inverness, Liverpool, Portsmouth, and Southampton. If you live near any of these cities, or any of the numerous other cities with cruise line ports, nothing should stop you from considering the available cruises in 2011.

Cruises in 2011 go to some of the most exotic locations in the world. You can stay local with Arctic or Mediterranean destinations, or you can go transatlantic with destinations in the Caribbean, East Coast USA, or South America. The more adventurous can find deals on longer, multi-destination cruises that span the globe.

Real Edmonton Oilers fans get their “fix”at OilersAddict.Com

December 3, 2010 at 4:08 pm

Canadian NHLEvery Canadian NHL hockey team has hardcore fans that eat, sleep and breathe their team. When it comes to the Edmonton Oilers, their faithful are as fanatical as they come and each is proud to “bleed oil.” If you are one such Oiler fan it’s likely the standard NHL news outlets don’t give you enough inside dirt on your team. A true Oilers addict will find their fix of everything Oilers on the web’s #1 Edmonton Oilers Blog, www.oilersaddict.com.

The old saying “what goes around, comes around” is looking mighty promising to fans of the Oilers these days. What “went around” in the mid-1980’s was the city boasting a team that had the greatest collection of talent ever amassed in the history of the National Hockey League. With Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier, Grant Fuhr, Jari Kurri, Glenn Anderson, Paul Coffey and Kevin Lowe being supported by an excellent cast of role players, the Oilers were the very definition of a “dynasty” and made their way to 5 Stanley Cups.

The city and fans around the world have never forgotten what it was like to be the seat of professional hockey supremacy for such an extended period of time. Today, after more than a few very lean years, there is a genuine sense of optimism that the team may be building its way back to at least some semblance of its former glory. There is a premiere nucleus of young talent in the Oilers’ forward ranks, led by 2010 1st overall pick Taylor Hall and strongly backed by 2008 1st rounder Jordan Eberle and 2009 top pick Magnus Paajarvi. Each of these players gives an Oilers addict all the more reason to follow closely as GM Steve Tambellini rebuilds the Oilers into a Western Conference powerhouse in the Canadian NHL.

Chances are, however, any fan that is going to put the effort into finding a top-notch Edmonton Oilers Blog is going to want to see the team ORGANIZATIONALLY and that means looking further down the talent pipeline. With the Oilers Addict blog, you will be equally on top of what’s going on with the AHL’s Oklahoma City Barons. The Oilers’ farm team features quality young players learning the craft in the American Hockey League before earning a spot with the Oilers. Olivier Roy is a name to remember – he’s a lightning-fast goaltender that looks great so far in his young career. Alex Plante is a gigantic d-man who should be taking a crack at the Oiler’s roster before long. Same goes for skilled Swedish winger Linus Omark.

Love the Oilers? Then check out the best Edmonton Oilers Blog –www.oilersaddict.com.

Emergency Light Needs for Arenas and Exhibition Halls

December 1, 2010 at 4:17 pm

Certain venues call for well lit arenas and exhibition halls are one of them. With exhibits of all kinds and the myriad of people at the venue through the ‘open’ hours it becomes imperative to ensure the presence of the emergency light as part of safety protocol. Without an emergency light such a venue could stand to lose a lot.

Make shift trade shows and expos need emergency lighting in place above all other facets of the arena. I learned this when going through the district office’s checklist for the expo we were hosting. A lesson I incorporated at home and the office too.
